After what felt like months of anticipation it’s all over, our first ever show has taken place in front of a very vocal crowd at Beddau RFC!
The show opened with one half of the tag team “High & Mighty” Mark Daniels facing the popular Necrofago. With Necrofago seemingly having the match won after hitting his signature “X-Factor” move, Daniels’ tag team partner Martyn Grant would distract the referee and the masked Luchador to allow Daniels to strike a low blow and snatch a victory.
Local favourite Big D faced Stevo Jones in the second contest. Big D would prove to be too much for his opponent and was victorious whilst also nailing a “stink face” much to the crowd’s delight!
The next match was a slight change to the advertised four way match, with Jay Joshua (Frontline Wrestling) being added. LD James earned the victory in a fast paced match, forcing the very popular Dangeruss to submit.
Due to an injury suffered the previous week, Fletcher Law announced Sid Oakley as his replacement to team with Bishop to face CJ Toumbas and Elliot Hightower. The popular team of Toumbas & Hightower would prove to be too much for their opponents, scoring a pinfall on Bishop in a match that many in the crowd felt was the match of the afternoon!
After the break fan favourite Kat Von Kaige earned a hard fought victory over Armina Lily, who had used a number of underhand tactics throughout the match!
In the advertised main event, the other half of High & Mighty Martyn Grant faced Oliver Satchwell. The rivals gave the match everything they had in a hard hitting, back and forth match. His tag team partner Mark Daniels though would return the favour of outside interference allowing Martyn to be victorious, while LD James joined the celebrations.
Determined not to end the show this way, announcer William Joseph quickly made an improptu six man tag team match with Necrofago and Big D teaming with Oliver Satchwell. The trio had their arms raised when Big D chokeslammed both members of High & Mighty after LD James had been thrown outside of the ring!
