Former WWE Superstar Chris Masters will make his Slammasters Wrestling debut on Sunday September 20th in Portland House, Cardiff Bay!

Few wrestlers of his generation made an entrance quite like “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters.
Masters became one of WWE’s most recognisable stars during the mid-2000s, making his main-roster debut in 2005, Masters quickly established himself on Monday Night Raw with the devastating Master Lock. The full nelson submission became the centrepiece of the infamous Master Lock Challenge, in which opponents attempted to escape a hold Masters proclaimed to be unbreakable. The challenge brought him face-to-face with legends and world champions, while Masters competed against the likes of Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, John Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton. He also entered the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship and competed at WrestleMania, before returning to WWE for a second run between 2009 and 2011.
Masters later reinvented himself as Chris Adonis, bringing his experience and star power to TNA and Impact Wrestling. After first appearing during the 2015 rivalry between TNA and Global Force Wrestling, he returned as a prominent member of the Impact roster in 2017. Adonis challenged for the GFW Global Championship and formed a powerful alliance with Eli Drake, including a featured appearance at Slammiversary opposite Moose and NFL star DeAngelo Williams.
His career enjoyed another major chapter in the National Wrestling Alliance. As a member of the formidable Strictly Business faction, Adonis became a two-time NWA National Heavyweight Champion, enjoying a lengthy title reign and later challenging for the prestigious NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
Chris Masters last wrestled in Cardiff in 2009 for WWE. Now, “The Masterpiece” returns to the Welsh capital—and he will be bringing his infamous Master Lock Challenge to The Banking Hall!!
